Gongting Pu'er (Imperial Pu'er)

Picture
The word "Gong Ting" means the Imperial Court, in reference to the exceptional quality of this Pu-erh tea which is made of young golden tea leaves. Full bodied, rich and extremely smooth in taste, Gong Ting Pu-erh can be infused at different levels of strength and yet maintain its mellow and smoothness without any trace of bitter taste.

Pu-erh Type:
Cooked / Shu

Form:
Loose leaf

Brewing Guide:
We recommend using Chinese Yixing (purple clay) or porcelain tea ware. Rinse tea cup and teapot with hot water. Use about 2 grams of tea leaves (1-2 teaspoons) for every 150ml of water. Steep tea leaves in hot water at 100°c (212°F) for 1 minute for the first and second brewing. Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing.

Optional Tea Ware:
Yixing Clay Pot
